ACCESS offers support at no cost to the client that includes housing, meals, transportation, and mentoring to help women and families who have fallen on hard times get back on their feet. To stay in the program, guests must work daily to improve their job status and look for stable housing.
After going through the program, if they are trying but unable to find affordable housing, ACCESS also offers subsidized transitional housing they can use while still receiving support. Our goal is to make them self sufficient again by offering a hand up. These are just a few of the stories from those we helped in 2021.
“You can see, even for their families, that they’re just so excited to break out for the betterment of their kids,” said Social Service Guest Liaison Sunny McCarty. “They are empowered to do better for them, so that they don’t fall in the same pattern.”
